George Harrison (Feb. 25, 1943 – Nov. 29, 2001) - "My Sweet Lord"
It always made me sad that George died so soon after Sept. 11, when everything on earth suddenly seemed broken.
I hope he still saw glimpses of hope in this world before he left it.

bits of the weekend... road trip!
NY>PA>OH>IN>IL & back home in 3 days, to pick up a new (used) truck found on eBay...
hence, most of these photos were taken from a vehicle moving down interstate highways:
(combination of point & shoot + cell phone + Instagram images)
That's the back end of the newly purchased truck ahead,
and though barely visible in this picture, a rainbow! (a good omen, right?!)

bits of my weekend
...by which time the recent snow had already melted - back to green grass again for now...
a muskrat lodge appeared on the marsh pond this fall:
hunting down bittersweet for Thanksgiving decor
Naples Banksy strikes again?
...the morning after a rough night of partying with the wind on the laundry line

Hackney Empire wallpaper pattern by House of Hackney
website description: "Debauched and whimsical Hackney Empire unveils a riot of colourful characters in a world where bush babies play the accordion and badgers drink cocktails. Hookah smoking sloths chill next to a frog in a bowler hat surrounded by parrots and cranes. Welcome to the other side of the looking glass."
Love it!

Every year over Halloween the quaint hamlet of Cheshire (along Rt. 21) gets ravaged with toilet paper decor.. and this year was no different. Driving through a week later, evidence remains. I've never asked someone who lives there what they think of it and if it's welcomed or not, but somehow it always happens.
after that, even the contrails looked like toilet paper:
so we went to the other side of the tracks to get clean :)
(along Pleasant Street in Canandaigua)
