“And then the dreams break into a million tiny pieces. The dream dies. Which leaves you with a choice: you can settle for reality, or you can go off, like a fool, and dream another dream.”

starting the day with our first visit to Central Park - immediately we happened upon Strawberry Fields!
(minutes later a guy was berating people for stepping or sitting on the mosaic - oops, shame on me! I had followed what others did before me, but thinking about it I could see his point: he just wanted to preserve the memorial)
crazy green colored water! but we saw several painted turtles paddling around happily enough...
a site of much romance - this particular couple put on a show from one side of the lake to the other, making out like the world was about to end:

Saturday evening's experiments:
Again, approx. 10:00pm. Color tweaked in Photoshop. Odd brightness in parts of the yard is actually caused by light coming from our house, intensified by by the camera's long exposure
"Firefly, can you see me?
Shine on, glowing, brief and brightly...
Could you imagine? One summer day,
That same night be on your way!"
