I came across these vintage postcards online by accident this morning - have no idea what the explanation is behind them (seems to be an old German/Northern European observance?) - but I love 'em! Their kooky imagery is so fitting right now - Who knew those pesky Japanese beetles returning to our yard were such party-ers?!
