not great photos, but I loved how this bouquet looked in the morning light on our kitchen windowsill
Tim bush-hogged the path down to the pond - necessary, though unfortunately it meant cutting through several of these flowers :( so I picked these out of the wreckage - Happily, there are still lots more covering the hillside :)

Spotted the turkeys again, this time while driving past our neighbors' yard. They quickly scurried away when I slowed down the car.
Wild turkeys!!!There were 3 adults and Tim counted 15 baby turkey chicks (is that what they're called?) - During the past 2 weeks we've encountered them crossing our road 1/2 mile down, but this is the first time they've come through our yard. (Are they called a flock?) They moved right along, I hardly had time to snap quick photos as the sun moved in & out of clouds - as usual, my pics don't do them justice - wish they gave a better sense of how highly patterned the adults are. What a treat first thing this morning!
^^^This was the direction towards which they headed, hidden by the underbrush.
My mom, my sister & I attended a concert together - a woman sitting in front of us turned around to say we looked like the coral bells in the garden :) (no, we didn't all plan matching outfits)
and my sister is wearing high heels here - ooh la la!
(unfortunately I didn't get those exact moments on camera)
(last photo taken by Q, of his brother G running towards him - after the game was finished :)
